New to Church?
Welcome! Whether you've just moved to the area, or have lived here all your life, we hope our website helps you to find out everything you want to know about our Churches.
Where & When Does The Church Meet?
Aston Church meets every Sunday at 10.30am and 6pm (see calendar for our service pattern). There is also a service every Wednesday at 9.30am.
Please aim to arrive 15 minutes early to ensure you get a parking spot and seat in time for the service to start. Parking for Aston church is available on the lower part of Church Lane and on other streets nearby. For Ulley there is street parking directly outside the church. We meet at:
All Saints Church, Aston-cum-Aughton
Church Lane, Aston, S26 2AX
You can see maps on our contact us page.
What Should I Expect When I Visit Church?
You will receive a very warm welcome particularly from our Welcome Teams who will be able to answer your questions, give you the service booklet with the words for the days service and help you find a seat. Services usually last about an hour. There are hymns and prayers to join in with, readings from the Bible and a sermon (usual length about ten minutes) which connects up the Bible passages with everyday life.

Most weeks we celebrate Holy Communion – sharing the bread and wine in memory of Jesus’ last meal with his friends (as seen above). If you are not confirmed or don’t usually take the bread and wine, you’re invited to take part by coming to the altar rail to receive a blessing.
Tea, coffee and biscuits are usually served after the services where there is plenty of time to meet new people and ask more questions.
If you’d like a shorter, simpler service, then our All Age Service on the first Sunday of the month at All Saints, Aston could be just right for you. It last 45 minutes, and children stay in this service with their parents.
Is There A Dress Code?
Not at all. Please just be yourself and come dressed in your 'normal' clothes.
Will I Have To Join In?
Not at all! You are free to simply observe or participate as much as feels comfortable for you.
What Happens To The Kids At Church?
Jesus was known for welcoming children – so we aim to do the same! Our All Age Services are especially for parents and children. We like children to be involved and even help lead the service.
There’s a crèche area in Aston church with toys and books: it’s on the left hand side. Toilet facilities at Aston are available through the door marked with a green fire exit sign, on the left toward the front of the church.
